3-D Sketches- Floral

I went through a long hiatus in my personal creativity. I always wanted to do something big and structural, but I mainly knew how to work on the human form. I decided to focus on a smaller scale and adopted the idea of “more
is more”, and focused on design that is scalable. Thus began my 3-D sketch series. It is still a work in progress as I try to figure out how to adapt this into an interactive experience, but in “sketching” I was able to understand how the material wanted to move, and the shapes it wanted to create. This process is very similar to how I went about using fabric. I have always respected the materials I used. I’d feel it out, listen to it, even talk to it. These pieces are seen on a form, though they can also work in different spaces or in different applications.
